You may be thinking that you just saw the engagement pictures right??? You are totally right!! We did the engagement pictures the day before the wedding. Christy told me that she works best with last minute things, which by the way is the opposite of me. I like to know what I’m doing 5 months in advance and it makes me nervous to wait last minute, but we are all different and she did a great job! It was supposed to rain all day Saturday, in fact I was a little nervous because its been raining so much lately that places in Texas are flooding and bridges are being broken. As I was pulling out of the driveway the clouds slowly fade away and the sun started to shine. I thought this was going to be a great day!
It was a 20 minute drive to the church and the clouds were getting heavy, but it wasn’t raining. We ended up taking pictures of the couple before the ceremony and I could tell that one was very nervous, which is understandable. The wind was blowing cool air and we were waiting on the rest of the family to show up. We did get alot of good shots and I am so glad that we did capture everything beforehand.
The wedding starts and there were no plans or music, but it made it more intimate. It may sound different, but it was such a small beautiful wedding. This couple knew they didn’t want to run to the courthouse, they knew they wanted a church and they found this cute church outside of town and it turned out so great. I wanted to share that on one of the bouquet there is a ring and its from the Brides mom, I just love keepsakes for memories that are part of the wedding since our loved ones cant be there.
I am very excited that the bride let me be a part of this wedding, but also capturing it for her!!
