If you have noticed we haven’t done alot of Newborn portraits, but I love little babies!!   It does take alot of time and patience when photographing a newborn as I always think we are on their time.

Meet Castiel!!  His family reached out and wanted some newborn pictures, but not the usual kind that you see.  Of course I was ready to go, because I love different.  Have picture perfect pictures are always great and I am a sucker for them as well, but I also love to capture “real”.  The yawn, the silly face, the finger flipping off, the stretch, I do believe those are the ones we are going to smile the most when they are all grown up.

Castiel was 3 weeks early and was so little.  You wont be able to tell from the pictures, but he was just the sweetest little baby!  His family had so many wonderful, fun ideas that it made this session super easy.  The little ideas were just so creative and fun and at the end of the day, that is whats great about photography!!!
