Kelsey and Callie came to the new studio right in the middle of a storm that actually blew out the electricity in the building. I am so glad that my job consists of a battery-operated camera and natural light for the most part.

Callie came well rested, not hungry, and in the happiest mood. Depending on the day and time of day, you never know what mood babies will be in, but Callie was excited!

I want to do motherhood sessions in the studio and maybe even fatherhood sessions in the studio to celebrate a baby’s life and this change in adulting with the bonding of a parent and child.

During the first year of a child’s life, there is ALOT of changes but also, you are so tired and trying to everything is done and take care of this little one that forgets to stop and capture those sweet moments. The Motherhood sessions are a time for mom and baby to bond and also for me to capture those sweet moments. One day the little ones grow up and there will be the last time when you hold them and I want these pictures to be something to cherish forever!
