In a few months, I will be re-doing our kitchen with some updated paint and countertops.  I still am not sure if I will paint the kitchen walls or not, but I am looking forward to some home updating!

If you know me, I do love to decorate and make the house warm and cozy.  A few years ago I did put down the hard wood floors in the kitchen and paint the walls.  A year ago, I walked into my kitchen and for some reason I just noticed how outdated it was.  I was blown away at how I never noticed it before and started doing some research!  I cant afford to hire someone to come in and knock out the old and add the new, so I will try and do it on a budget.

The house I live in is where I have lived for the last 22 years and it definitely isn’t my dream home.  We want to sell this house in the near future, so I don’t want to put alot of money in it, but I want to get it updated for the new home owners.

I saw the bigger plant before Christmas at TJ MAXX and I fell in love with it, and I knew I wanted it for inspiration on the makeover.  We are going to try and tie the plant into the new feel for the kitchen makeover!  Wish us luck!
