Meet Christina!  Christina was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colorectal Cancer when she was just 48 years old. She was diagnosed on 09/16 after an emergency surgery for bowel obstruction.

I want to quote what she wrote,

“To a lot of people cancer is a death sentence.  I refused to even entertain that thought.  I looked at my entire family and seen the fear in their eyes, I knew then I had to fight not only for my life, but also theirs.  There are days I don’t know how I’ll get through but I do it!  I will continue to fight until there’s nothing left.  I miss some family functions but I also fight to attend all that I can.  One day I pray this awful disease will no longer exist, so until then I will be vigilant to continue the fight!!!”

When I was talking to Christina, she was so strong and sure that this wasn’t going to defeat her! I loved seeing the fight in her eyes and I know she’s going to overcome this.  I also love her slogan with this fight in which it is “I refuse to sink!”

Christina has four kids and 2 bonus daughters and 9 glambabies. She is ready to face this cancer straight on and beat it!
