You may or may not have caught on in previous posts and on Joyful Memories Photography website when speaking I have said, “we” and then have changed it to “I”.  Joyful Memories Photography is a team of my husband and I.  Even though you may see my face more and I’m the founder behind the business, the truth is we are a team in marriage and in life!  I will always support my husbands goals and dreams and because of my support, his dreams become mine.  The same with him and my goals and dreams, they are his.

When I was building my website, there were alot of times that I needed my husband’s help with the technical stuff and the coding (thank goodness my husband is in school for computers and coding).  He would sit next to me and wait till I needed his help or advice on something!  This is why its important that I say “we”.  Joyful Memories Photography is our business, but my dream!

With that being said, I wanted to let you know that in this blog, you will see my personal side, business side, goofy side, personal trips, concerns, vents, new goals and everything else.  This blog is not just for my business, but I want you to get to know me on a deeper level!

I will be launching my website in 3 days and I am super excited!  I have worked (so has my husband) on this all month long and have spent hours upon hours figuring out how I want my brand to be.  Also, I have added Pinterest and Email notifications that originally wasn’t in my plan, but I am so excited that they are now.  I will be sharing with you a blog for each of those also.  To be honest, I have so many things that I want to talk to you guys about and show you, but I am trying to spread it all out, so its not overwhelming or too much!

I feel really blessed to know that God has laid this desire on my heart, because right before I got married, I really didn’t know what my dreams and goals were.  My husband had his and his future looked bright, but I wanted some form of a passion too!  Photography has come and gone alot over the last 9 years as my passion and I’m not sure if it was me or if it was the timing, but that seed was planted and now I’m trying to let it grow!

My husbands support has been wonderful and honestly, has helped me to not feel guilty for using our money or our time together in building this business.  I feel very blessed and honored that hes is my partner in life and my partner in Joyful Memories Photography!!!
