I knew that I wanted to have a mini session before the end of the summer, but wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do. Then “watermelon” came to my mind, because if you know me, you know that I LOVE watermelon. Watermelon as you know, is a seasonal fruit. Yes you can buy anytime of the year, but its small and limited. You definitely wont be able to go to the store and thump and pat all the watermelons to check for the water or sound to make sure its good or even drive down the street and see the watermelon truck on the side of the road.
Last Friday night I went to 5 stores looking for summer, watermelon stuff and to no prevail. Every store was already full of Fall and even winter stuff. I was a little bummed thinking that maybe it was too late for a summer mini session. My husband is always telling me to never give up, even if it dose’nt succeed and to keep trying, so that’s what I told myself as I stood in the store looking at all the orange and smelling the fall decor.
Its true that people are getting ready for school and needing to get school supplies and getting new clothes, but I have to admit that this summer flew by. I was reminding myself that if I had a child and I knew that next summer was to come, my little one would be a year older and a foot taller, so these memories are precious! That little thought motivated me like no other to just try!! Try to motivate someone in capturing this summer of 2018 with some pictures of their little one!
Meet Uriah!! She is the most precious, beautiful little girl and I had so much fun working with her. She was sweet, gentle and yet sassy who liked to sing! I do have to say this was my first time singing with one of my clients. Uriah was standing there posing for me and I could hear her say something so quietly and as I listened she was singing “Heads, shoulder, knees and toes” and let me tell you, I know that song!!! I started to sing it with her and her smile lit up so much! We also sang the alphabet too!!
Uriah and her mom were really fun to work with and I am so glad that I got to meet them! Here are some pictures of pure cuteness, so beware!!
