Rachel’s life | Colorado day 3 & 4

The next day I still woke up not feeling good, so again it took us awhile to get started for the day.  I know Joseph was eager to get out the door, but again I had to remind him that I wanted a relaxed vacation.  On day 3 we were going to one of his favorite cities, in fact wants to move there.  We were going to Boulder Colorado, which is about a 30 minute drive North of Denver.

We arrive and he takes me to the stores that are downtown where everyone hangs out.  There were so many cool places, in which we stopped into a restaurant/bar to grab lunch.  There were people trying to earn money by their talents or their character.  I remember one guy specifically who looked like the tin man and wouldn’t move.  Of course I wanted to stare and see when he was going to move.  Then there was a person like a shaggy dog and people playing music.  In a way, it reminded me of New York City in Times Square.

Then the fun part to me, which was looking at houses, looking at land and also the mountains.  We saw this park and of course I had to have my husband do a photo shoot for me with the mountains in the background.  Later that evening we had reservations to our anniversary restaurant which overlooked all of Boulder.  It was absolutely gorgeous.  If you know me, you know I have to go eat in high tower restaurants that overlook that city in every city I go too.  Since they arnt for the high towers, but mountains, Joseph found us the perfect place.

Flagstaff was where we ate and our waiter Chris, was awesome!  He made us feel like we were worth a million dollars and also made us feel super important.  Every once in awhile I think it’s good for people to get all dolled up and go eat at a five star restaurant.

As the valet was pulling around our car we noticed that we had a headlight out.  Let me tell you that you will hardly see cops in Colorado, we barely did.  The fact that we had been driving for as long as we have without a headlight, we would of already gotten pulled over if we were in Texas.  So we go get it fixed and I am a social butterfly, so I started talking to them about the area.  I found out a lot of good and bad information, but Joseph and I talked about it.

The next morning we woke up when we wanted too, ate breakfast down there street where Andrea told us of the yummy, fun places and took pictures across the park from where our Airbnb was with Teddy!  The trip going home was fun and I did enjoy seeing flat land again, but did love the mountains.  We jammed out and talked about our future and what we would want and what to pray for.

Who knows what God has in store for us, but we will wait and pray and see where he leads us!!

Happy 1st anniversary hunny!!!  It was a fun, eventful year!
